So another year at the good ole UVa has started and the work is already aplenty. After two years, many classes and many directions, I have settled at a double major in American Politics and Economics. I usually end up at the library with all my books sprawled across the table and a lot of coffee. I really love my daily coffee. :)
The other day, I was sitting in the library, and I was feeling a bit overwhelmed by all the work that I already have. And I looked up and saw the fish in Clemons and thought "Just Keep Swimming" (from one of my favorites "Finding Nemo").
And that is my mentality through all of college--just keep going. College is tough, but that is the point of it. College is teaching us how to learn and how to think critically and analytically. The classes may be the point of college but the clubs and organizations that I am involved in are what keeps me going full speed ahead! They take a surprising amount of time and effort but they are a nice break from the humdrum of classes.
Along with new and different clubs, the fall brings so many other wonderful things: Pumpkin Spice Lattes, football, new friends, sweaters! I am so excited for the year to come! :)
